Business Visa Obtained

How do I get a Thai business Visa?

Among the requirements for obtaining a visa for business in Thailand, there are also two ways in which you can obtain it:
1. You can get the business visa by being hired by a company
2. Also setting up a new company in Thailand
Without the supporting documents of the Thai employer you will not be able to obtain this type of visa. You can obtain this visa if you are employed in Thailand by a Thai citizen or if you open your own company and it does not matter the level of education you have.
However, if you do not have a bachelor’s degree, it will be a bit difficult for you to find a job in Thailand, as these diplomas are very common in Thailand.
How and how to get a business visa in Thailand are two ways, and non-immigrant B visa is of two types:
1. Single entry visa
2. Multiple entry visa
The only differences between these two visas are the following:
1. With the help of the non-immigrant B visa with a single entry you can stay in Thailand for a period of 3 months. If you have a multiple entry you can stay in Thailand for 12 months, but you will have to leave and return to the country every 90 days
2. Except for certain nationalities, you can access a non-B single entry visa at any Thai Embassy. The multiple entry visa can only be requested in the country of origin
3. When you leave the country without a re-entry permit, and the visa you have has only one entry and is not B, you will lose it.
Foreign citizens usually have a single-entry non-immigrant B visa and extend it for one year for a non-immigrant B multiple-entry visa.
If you do not know how to apply for this visa, you must make sure that both you and the employer have prepared all the documents.
If you have a Thai employer you will need the following documents from him:
– a letter of approval from the Ministry of Labor, the Investment Council and the other governmental organizations is required, as the case may require
– a letter from the employer stating your position, salary, duration of the contract and the responsibility you have in the workplace
– business license is required
– of the certificate of registration in the tank
– list of shareholders
– a list of expatriate employees is also required, and this list must contain their name, nationality but also their functions and salaries.
– map of the company
– list of financial documents and situations in the last fiscal year

Due to the fact that the employer also has to submit a lot of documents to government organizations to obtain this letter of approval, the process takes several weeks.
You will need to submit the following documents:
– copy of the passport valid for more than 6 months
– the registration form
– two passport size photos that must have a white background and be taken in the last 6 months
– a bank statement is required where it must be specified that there are at least 20,000 Baht in the case of a single person and 40,000 Baht in the case of a family
– if you have previously worked in Thailand you must present a copy of the work permit
– degree
– the employment certificate from the previous employers
– transcripts
This visa can be applied for by you either outside Thailand at any of the Thai Embassies or within Thailand.
Apart from the business visa, this and other types of visa that you can access if you want to run a business in Thailand:
Smart Visa has the following advantages:
– you can renew this visa every 4 years
– you can work in Thailand without having to have a work permit
– you must report your immigration once a year, not every 90 days
– you can leave and return to the country without having to obtain a re-entry permit
– in the way you have family, both children and your spouse benefit from these advantages
When you are not working for a company but you want to come to Thailand to start your own business you must also get a Non-Immigrant B Visa.
At the Embassy of your country of origin you must go to get this type of visa and present yourself with the following documents:
– you need a letter from a company or a Thai organization and their business registration certificate
– the letter corresponding to your company that will have to contain the name, salary, objectives, length of stay in Thailand and registration of your company
After meeting these requirements you will get a residence visa in Thailand

I am a British citizen and I will be going to Thailand after I have been working in Australia for a few months. Can you please tell me if it is possible for be to apply for a 90 day non-immigrant B visa once I am in thailand so I can look for work ? If not what do I need to do? If I can apply for this visa whilst I am in Thailand can you please tell me where I would need to go. Or would I need to come back to England to then apply and fly back out to Thailand once approved?

You could obtain a job with a foreign company doing business in Thailand. They take care of the work permits and maybe pay for the plane ride too.

You can’t apply for any visa in Thailand all visas (with the exception of the 15 day visa on arrival for nationals of certain countries) must be obtained before you travel.

You need to have a job to go to before you will be granted a B visa, so you can’t go and look for a job, and as Infedelial rightly says jobs are not easily come by for foreigners in Thailand.
