I am highly motivated person in all aspects of my life. An employer would find me flexible and co-operative and willing to work hard. I am an efficient and organised person who likes to try out new challenges. I work well as part of a team and on my own. I am always punctual and a reliable person.

I possess 3 years of experience of managing a team of 10-20 people through my time at Esure in the UK. I also have experience as a business development manager at the same company for 2 years.

PBI Search: February 2018 – Present

Senior 360 Degree Recruiter

When I moved to Thailand, I was living in Bangkok when I began the role at PBI Search. I am working as a 360 degree recruiter across the digital market. I am Skilled in Negotiation, Sales, Candidate Sourcing, Management, and Account Management. My role involves cold-calling companies to source new business and sell PBI Search and myself into them in order to build a lasting relationship. I also headhunt candidates through job advertisements, LinkedIn and CV libraries. I have been successful in this role in meeting all my KPI’s on a regular basis.

Business Development Manager May 2016 – March 2018

My second role was that of New Business Development manager. In this role I am responsible for managing a B2B team charged with establishing leads and generating relationships across numerous platforms.

I have a great deal of experience working with CEOs and procurement managers, from companies ranging from global enterprises, to smaller local establishments. I am more than happy to engage with business representatives across all platforms from phone calls and meetings to trade shows.

Senior Sales Person May 2013 – May 2014/Sales Manager May 2014 – May 2016

I joined Esure originally as a Senior telephonic sales person but quickly progressed within a year to managing a team of 10 sales people through exceeding my targets and leadership skills. The team exceeded a variety of targets which ultimately reflected how well I was managing them. Our team would have two main tasks to complete during the day. The first would be to receive inbound calls from existing and new customers to set up or alter car insurance policies and we would need to upsell them additional products on their policies through fact finding and open questioning. The second task would to be to cold-call potential customers who had received prices through an insurance comparison price site to close the deal and get the potential customer to sign up for a year.

I managed my own team for 3.5 years and managed a variety of people from different cultures, backgrounds and with different skill sets through this time. My leadership qualities were rewarded with a “Manager of the year” award for the Manchester office in 2017. My team consistently hit and exceeded their targets which in turn meant I was meeting all my KPI’s.

Claims Advisory Group – October 2012 – February 2013
Outbound Sales Advisor

My main role in this job is to contact potential new clients and generate leads. This is in regards to people being mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance. I work towards daily, weekly and monthly sales target. This role allowed me to enhance my ability in professionalism towards client I was often handling sensitive data, where PPI had been mis-sold , often around debt instruments which some clients may have found difficult to talk about.

 

RBS – March 2011 – September 2012
Sales Advisor

My role as a telephone banker, allowed me to practice my marketing skills, where I was often tasked in upselling to customers, who often enquired about overdrafts, I would view their financial history and aim to redirect them to more stable and structured products such as loans and credit cards. This allowed me to work in a driven target based environment which again was very heavily procedurally based, as we governed by the then FSA to strict rule around selling to clients. During this role I occasionally had to deal difficult conversations surrounding the rejection of credit and this led me to practice my ability to defuse situations, keeping the customers best interests at heart and attempting to maintain their business and find a suitable solution for their requirements.
